| | | My study of Homoeopathy started in1991 after a diagnosis of MS. I had been working and living in France andCanada skiing, rafting; and thought I had it all! The diagnosis led me to askhow can I improve my health and then what health is and what that means to mylife. Graduating from the Scottish College inGlasgow in 1995 began a homoeopathic practice and continued study inHomoeopathy, Supervision and Therapeutics. I became interested in the TherapeuticRelationship and this led to the development of supervision with a group ofStress Management Students in Greenock who were doing outreach work in thecommunity. In 2003 after 13 years of good health I hada crash and was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis leaving me Paraplegic anddependent on a wheelchair. I received a gift of Shiatsu treatment from thegroup I had worked with in Greenock and met Elaine. The treament was wonderfuland this led to discussions related to my work. I developed the Communication Skills Modulefor the School and have been delivering it since 2005. My love of life continues and I regularlypractice Tai Chi and have travelled for workshops in Canada. I am also a keenwheelchair curler and recently won with a team in The Scottish Championships. |
