On-site Seated Shiatsu. This stand-alone course will give you the theory and skills to give an effective Seated Shiatsu treatment on the head, neck, shoulder, arms and hands. The curriculum includes Oriental Diagnosis and Theory, use of meridians and acupoints, relevant anatomy and physiology, stretches and rotations. On successful completion you can then go and practise Seated Shiatsu on the public. Students who successfully complete the On-site Seated Shiatsu course and wish to transfer to the three year Shiatsu Diploma may enter at the Shiatsu and the Five Elements level. There are three formats of delivery (subject to numbers) for this course as follows. - 14 Evenings from 7pm to 10pm
- 3 Weekend and a single day from 10am to 5:30pm
- Fast track which istwo double days from 10am to 5:30pm
Summer Intensive Dates: 6 week course begins mid July 2010, two evenings per week Time: 7pm - 10pm Cost: £330 A deposit of £60 is required. Balance on start of course or pay as you go. (Cheques payable to Glasgow School of Shiatsu) Places are limited to ensure personal supervision. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing such as a track or jogging suit. We also incorporate the On-site Seated Shiatsu Course within the Shiatsu & the Five Elements module of the Shiatsu Diploma.
