| Teacher Training How to go from no "t" to the BIG "T". The Shiatsu Society is the major professional organisation for Shiatsu Therapists and Teachers. The Society has defined requirements for Members of the Register of the Shiatsu Society (MRSS) who wish to develop their career into teaching. After achieving MRSS status graduates may apply to the Society for "t" status which shows they are trainee teachers. A certain number of teacher training hours and assisting hours are a requirement for this, as well as undertaking supervision with two Teacher Trainers. Trainees progress from "t" to "T" status (fully qualified teacher) by preparing a portfolio for submission to the Shiatsu Society. We can provide supervision and teacher training opportunities for suitably qualified graduates at our discretion. Places are limited to ensure personal supervision.
